Fly across a winter wonderland and see a Christmas classic! Now in its 26th year, The Snowman is as magical as ever. Suitable for all ages.

Classic Festive Fun With The Snowman Tickets

Soar into a winter wonderland with one of London’s most beloved festive shows, The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre. Raymond Briggs’ classic children’s story comes alive on stage with dance, music and dazzling storytelling for the whole family. Still “one of the best shows in London” (Time Out), get swept up in this nostalgic story’s whimsy over the Christmas period.

About The Snowman

When a young boy looks out of his window on Christmas Eve, he gets a huge surprise. The snowman he built the day before has come alive, and is inviting him on an adventure! The pair hold hands and fly up, up, up into the night sky, where incredible experiences are waiting. Join them as they meet Father Christmas, dancing penguins, reindeer and more. Will they escape dastardly Jack Frost and get back home for Christmas morning?

Based on Raymond Briggs’ children’s story and Dianne Jackson’s much-loved animated film, The Snowman is a timeless tale that is just as magical on stage. With spectacular designs and costumes and breathtaking music from a live orchestra - including “Walking in the Air”, made famous by Aled Jones - this dance show is both whimsical and accessible for all ages, making it the perfect option to take young theatregoers to.

26 Years of The Snowman On Stage

Since premiering at Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 1993, The Snowman has become a London Christmas theatre tradition. It is now entering its 26th year in the capital and continues to attract audiences old and new with its heartwarming story about imagination and keeping the spirit of childhood alive. For many children, it is even their first experience of visiting the West End and has inspired a love of dance and theatre in them for years to come.

The show’s creative team includes Olivier Award-winning director Bill Alexander, designer Ruari Murchison, lighting designer Tim Mitchell and choreographer Robert North. A live orchestra compliments their vision, and you will be wholly swept away by the dancing and music, just like James is swept away by his brand-new friend!
