Getting into the Venue
The New Wimbledon Theatre main entrance is located on the corner of The Broadway, Wimbledon, with 6 steep steps up to the main foyer. There are handrails in place either side of the steps. This entrance leads directly into a small foyer, with the Box Office on the left and a small shop on the right. There is a further 8 steps up to the access point to the rest of the venue.Alternatively, there is level access to the Stalls from street level, via an alternative entrance situated on Russell Road. This entrance leads to a wheelchair accessible lift which can take patrons to the Stalls level.

Customer Assistance
Staff must be notified upon arrival if customers wish to use the alternative entrance on Russell Road and are available to assist with navigation.There is a wheelchair adapted bar in the Stalls. An at-seat service is available for patrons who are unable to access the bars. Transfers are available, but a companion must be brought.
There is a wheelchair adapted toilet in the Stalls.
How to Book
For those who require special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces and transfers, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Section Accessibility
Stalls
The Stalls can be accessed via 30 steps down from the main foyer towards the auditorium, with handrails in place. Alternatively, the seating can be accessed step-free via the wheelchair accessible lift located on Russell Road. Once inside the Stalls, there is a gentle slope throughout the seating, but no steps.
Wheelchair spaces are available in the Stalls, via the alternative entrance which leads to a wheelchair accessible lift. Transfers are available to aisle seats and a companion must be brought.
Legroom is good throughout the Stalls, with extra legroom in Row J.
Dress Circle
The Dress Circle can be accessed via 33 steps up from the main foyer to the auditorium, with handrails in place either side of the staircase.
Extra legroom can be found in Row J, in seats J17-J21, as there are no seats directly in front of them.
Upper Circle
The front of the Upper Circle can be accessed via 39 steps up from the main foyer to the auditorium, with handrails on either side of the staircase. This section is not recommended for those with limited mobility.
