This classic tale of a young actress’ dreams of stardom is at Sadler’s Wells for a strictly limited season.Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York with dreams of her name in lights, and quickly earns a place in the chorus line of Broadway’s next big hit. Amidst the ups and downs of show business, Peggy soon gets the chance to assume the role of leading lady... but will she take it?
The spectacular 42nd Street musical is famous for incredible tap dance routines, backstage romance and showstopper songs, including “We’re In The Money”, “Lullaby of Broadway” and “I Only Have Eyes For You”.
This brand new production, directed by Jonathan Church (Singin’ In The Rain) brings all the drama of Broadway to central London in a co-production between Leicester Curve and Sadler’s Wells. It is choreographed and designed by Olivier Award winners Bill Dreamer and Rob Jones.
42nd Street West End casting includes Ruthie Henshall, Adam Garcia, Les Dennis and Nicole-Lily Baisden.

This is my favourite show ever, having now seen it 7 times. It’s a classic filled with the most amazing tap dancing and fabulous old songs. There are numerous funny moments also. Definitely a show not to be missed.
