Getting into the Venue
Access to the Alexandra Palace Theatre is step-free through the East Court, which has an access slope. Once inside, the theatre foyer is completely step-free, and there is level wheelchair access from here into Stalls rows A - K.In the Stalls, tiered (stepped) seating starts at Row L, and in the Circle every row is stepped. There are 25 steps up to the Circle, or a lift that takes patrons from the foyer to the Circle right seating area.
There are numerous wheelchair spaces and transfer seats in the venue, including four in the Stalls and one in the Circle. Circle seats D5 and D6 are reserved for wheelchair users and their companion/personal assistant.
When travelling to the venue, there are 25 Blue Badge Holder car parking spaces onsite, and an accessible drop-off location outside the main entrance.
Customer Assistance
Staff at Alexandra Palace Theatre can assist with moving through the venue. Wheelchairs are available to hire at Alexandra Palace on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be pre-booked by phone or filling out the Access Form. For all transfer enquiries, the Access team at the venue can advise on best places to sit.There are two accessible unisex toilets on the ground floor with step-free access, and men’s toilets are 21 steps up on the Circle level.
Refreshments can be pre-ordered from the bar, and staff can assist with getting these to your seats where necessary.
How to Book
Companion tickets are available free of charge for events at the theatre. These can be booked on the Alexandra Palace Theatre website, by email or by phone.
