What Is The Animals Come to the Table About?
What would happen if nature grabbed the mic?
When a negotiator and an interpreter are summoned for a secret emergency meeting, the last thing they expect, as the lights go down, is just who called the meeting. The pair are met by a rat, a chicken, and a snow leopard - along with a whole host of other voices from the natural world - and the animals are angry. As the humans sit at the negotiating table, the animals demand an explanation and an end to ecological exploitation and destruction. Audacious, funny and unsettling, The Animals Come to the Table asks what might happen if the earth finally answered back.
