A vibrant production of Shakespeare’s comedy
Journey through the Forest of Arden this winter in Shakespeare’s As You Like It at Soho Place. The joyous comedy is performed in the round at the West End’s newest theatre, starring Leah Harvey and Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis. When her father the Duke is exiled, Rosalind and her cousin Celia decide to leave court and travel into the forest with the Fool, Touchstone. Rosalind is disguised as a boy and soon throws off convention, all whilst falling for lovesick Orlando. Ending in celebration and reconciliation, As You Like It is one of Shakespeare's most bewildering but irresistibly joyful comedies. The As You Like It West End revival is directed by Josie Rourke (Mary Queen of Scots and stars Leah Harvey (Small Island) as Rosalind and Rose Ayling-Ellis (EastEnders; Strictly Come Dancing) as Celia. They are joined by Alfred Enoch as Orlando and Martha Plimpton as Jacques. Enjoy a dynamic revival of a classic performed by a vibrant cast with As You Like It tickets.
