In the midst of a scorching summer in Malawi and a devastating drought, 13-year-old William has a dream - he wants to save his village. As the drought worsens day by day, causing crops to fail and hope to run dry, nobody in William’s community believes he can find the solution to their problems, with even his family and friends doubting him. Armed only with library books, some scrap machinery and his own imagination and grit, William is determined to prove them all wrong and bring the village some relief. As William begins to build a windmill, challenges arise - can he harness both the power of his creativity and the wind to bring hope back to his people?
