Cinderella: The Pantomime Tickets

London Palladium

Closed 15th January 2017

After more than 29 years away from the London Paladium, pantomime returned to entertain audiences over the festive period! A truly spectacular version of Cinderella dazzled audiences in the West End, featuring outstanding sets and magical costumes. Follow the well-known tale of downtrodden Cinders as she discovers her Fairy Godmother and finds out that she can go to the ball!

Family favourite pantomime Cinderella danced into the West End's London Palladium for a festive run throughout December 2016. Cinderella marked the first return of pantomime in a grand 29 years, with the last silly spectacular having played in 1987, starring Barbara Windsor in Babes in the Woods. With a star-studded cast heading up the show, Cinderella was a terrific treat! A classic rags-to-riches fairytale that is performed as a pantomime across the country, Cinderella follows down-on-her-luck Cinderella as she slaves away for her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. When it is announced that Prince Charming is looking for a wife by hosting a glittering ball, Cinders' ugly stepsisters make sure that she won't be attending. But poor Cinderella is soon cheered up by the appearance of a Fairy Godmother, who promises to get her to the ball! With the typical panto twist, including a hilarious dame and doting Buttons, Cinderella is sure to get her happy ending! Cinderella was brought to London by Qdos Entertainment, who had produced over 650 perfect pantomimes, and was co-directed by Michael Harrison (Gypsy) and Olivier Award-nominated Andrew Wright (Mrs Henderson Presents). With a whole host of spectacular sets and dazzling costumes, Cinderella brought British panto back with a bang! With Paul O’Grady playing The Wicked Stepmother, Amanda Holden as the Fairy Godmother, Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead taking the role of Prince Charming, Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup, this was one of the biggest pantomimes in Christmas 2016. West End favourite and star of Funny Girl Natasha J Barnes took the role of Cinders herself. Having opened for the festive season on December 9th, Cinderella ran until January 15th 2017 at the London Palladium.
