What is the immersive circus show Come Alive about?
A vibrant reinvention of the world of The Greatest Showman, but not a direct stage adaptation, Come Alive! tells a contemporary, original story inspired by the beloved film’s themes and soundtrack as plucky newcomer Max must learn to step into the spotlight and out of the shadows, with a little help from the circus’s owner, The Showman.
This “eye-popping theatrical spectacle” (WestEnd Theatre) features new characters, fresh narration, and all of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s hit songs from the film—including “This Is Me”, “Rewrite the Stars”, “A Million Dreams”, “Tightrope” and “The Greatest Show”. As well as enjoying the spectacular vocals, acrobatic feats and moving storytelling, audiences are welcomed into an immersive pre‑show experience, where performers mingle among the crowd and they can explore mini‑tents, meet performers, and enjoy food and drinks from the themed bars and vendors.
The Greatest Showman was a 2017 musical film by Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon, directed by Michael Gracey, starring Hugh Jackman, Zendaya and Zac Efron. Loosely based on the life of entertainer and circus ringleader PT Barnum, the film won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song for "This Is Me", and the award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media at the 2018 Grammys. “This Is Me” was also nominated for Best Original Song at the 2018 Academy Awards.

Fun show with great circus acts. The story isn’t that in depth but the acts are fun and the music is great. Great performances from the whole cast. I would recommend arriving at least one hour earlier to enjoy the pre-show.
