Getting into the Venue
The main entrance to the Dominion Theatre is opposite Tottenham Court Road tube station and is step-free from street to foyer, making it fully accessible for wheelchair users. There is a drop-off point adjacent to the main entrance to the theatre. Once inside, there is step-free access to bars and the Box Office counter.There is step-free access to the Nederlander Box from Bainbridge. The Box is specifically designed for customers with wheelchairs or electric scooters. The Stalls are also accessible via platform lift.
Customer Assistance
A member of staff per performance will be dedicated to assisting those with access requirements. Customers who need assistance must make themselves known to a member of staff. Staff must be notified if the platform lift to the Stalls is required.Transfers are available in the Stalls. Wheelchair patrons who wish to transfer to fixed seating must bring a companion. Staff are able to store wheelchairs for the duration of the performance and will retrieve them at the end or during the interval if requested. An at-seat service is available for patrons who are unable to access the bars.
How to Book
For those who require assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance to ensure availability and notify staff of any special requirements. Section Accessibility
Stalls
The Stalls are accessible via 9 shallow steps down from the main foyer and are suitable for those with limited mobility. There are handrails in place and the steps are not steep. A platform lift can take customers from the foyer to the Stalls and is suitable for lightweight wheelchairs. Transfers are available to any aisle seat. There are 2 wheelchair spaces in this section.
Extra legroom can be found in Rows A and ZZ. There is good legroom throughout the Dominion Theatre.
Circle
The Circle is at least 50 steps up from the main foyer with handrails in place. The Circle is not accessible for wheelchair users and is not recommended for anyone with limited mobility.
The Nederlander Box is available for access patrons, including wheelchairs and electric scooters, and can accommodate up to 2 wheelchair users and their companions. The Box is accessible via a step-free entrance on Bainbridge and there is a dedicated adapted toilet.
