What is the Christmas show Elf the Musical about?
Elf! tells the story of Buddy, who crawled into Santa’s bag as a child and unexpectedly ended up in the North Pole. Raised as a proud, but too tall and slightly overenthusiastic, elf, when Buddy discovers he’s actually a human, he sets off on a journey of self-discovery. The bright lights of New York are calling him, but can he find his long-lost family and remind everyone of the true meaning of Christmas?
Elf! The Musical is based on the hit 2001 film starring Will Ferrell and Zoey Deschanel. Adapted into a musical in 2009, Elf! had a record-breaking run on Broadway before transferring to London in 2015. The show has since enjoyed numerous revivals and both national and international tours. This fun, festive and feel-good show returns to the Aldwych theatre for a strictly limited run this winter - we know we’ll be hoping to find tickets under the tree!

Loved this show. Cheesy Christmas fun but in a good way. Leaves you feeling full of the Christmas spirit. The actors were brilliant especially Joel Montague as Buddy. Sets and costumes were fab and overall a great fun show.
