Can she be part of the Bollywood family while remaining true to herself?Based on real stories of British women navigating the high-stakes world of Bollywood, Frankie Goes to Bollywood is a thrilling new musical filled with heroes and villains, ornate and glamorous costumes, and spectacular sets that transport audiences from central London to the bright lights of Bollywood’s biggest film sets. Creative Team
This epic new musical from the makers of Britain’s Got Bhangra is the brainchild of Rifco Theatre Company Artistic Director Pravesh Kumar, who set out to celebrate the vibrant tradition of Bollywood whilst also exploring the darker sides of the industry. It has a book by Kumar, songs and music by Niraj Chag, songs and lyrics by Tasha Taylor Johnson and costume design by Andy Kumar.The cast includes Laila Zaidi, Helen K Wint, Shakil Hussain, Gigi Zahir, Navin Kundra and Katie Stasi.

Full of energy and colour, excellent performances, especially dance and songs. Plot a bit too wide ranging, to be coherent but ok for a musical.
