Harry Clarke Tickets: Be Seduced By This Electrifying Thriller…

19 characters, 80 minutes, and a performance you won’t be able to look away from: prepare to be charmed and thrilled by Emmy Award winner Billy Crudup in the darkly funny thriller Harry Clarke at the Ambassadors Theatre.

With shades of The Talented Mr. Ripley, this intoxicating drama about a man who deceives his way into the heart of a wealthy family comes to the West End direct from sold-out seasons in Los Angeles and New York. You will be on the edge of your seat, desperate to see the truth revealed, as Crudup’s “masterclass” (New York Theatre Guide) performance unfolds.

What is Harry Clarke about?

Harry Clarke has a secret. If you go back far enough, you might know him as Philip Brugglestein, but to most people, his English accent is enough to smooth over any questions…

Following the exploits of a Midwestern man who reinvents himself as a charming Londonder, this wickedly fun thriller sees one man seduce his way into a wealthy family far away from home. But will his own risky, arrogant behaviour bring the whole house of cards down?

Harry Clarke is a short, taught and electric one-man show from playwright David Cale and director Leigh Silverman (Suffs) that premiered in 2017 to huge acclaim. Anchored by an electric performance from Billy Crudup, it has since played in New York to sold-out audiences and now comes to London for nine weeks only.

Billy Crudup in Harry Clarke

Billy Crudup is the Emmy and Tony Award-winning star of Almost Famous, Big Fish and hit television series The Morning Show. Fresh from a Critic’s Choice Award win for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, he now makes his West End debut in a role he was made for.

In the US, his shapeshifting performance was a knock-out, and now in London you can enjoy him “having the time of his life in a sly role terrifically suited to his gifts” (The New York Times).
