Blood-curdling thrillers, outrageous comedy, twist endings and hidden hares: Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith have defined a new genre of experimental television with Inside No 9 , and the world premiere of the anthology series’ first theatrical outing is set to deliver more of the same.
Pemberton and Shearsmith are masters of the twisted, uncanny and gleefully perverse, having started out together in The League of Gentlemen and Psychoville . Pemberton’s stage credits include spine-chilling dark drama The Pillowman opposite Lily Allen, whilst Shearsmith has appeared in A Very Expensive Poison, The Unfriend and Hangmen .
The duo have co-written Stage/Fright and also perform in the show - cementing its status as an absolute must-see for fans of their award-winning work on screen.
