Jack and the Beanstalk Adult Panto Tickets: Filthy Festive Fun!
Leave the kids at home and enjoy a ferociously funny adults-only panto this Christmas: Jack and the Beanstalk - What a Whopper! at Charing Cross Theatre! The classic story of Jack Trott and his adventures to the land of giants becomes a colossal camp spectacular in “the best adult pantomime in London” (Theatre Weekly). The festive spirit has never been so naughty!About Jack and the Beanstalk - What a Whopper!
Jack Trott is poor, gay and sexually frustrated. His mum’s run-down dairy farm is ten miles from the nearest Grindr user, and there’s not much else to do. When he decides to sell the family’s much-loved cow for a handful of magic beans, his mum furiously throws them on the compost heap… and the next morning, a huge, thick stalk has sprung up outside! There’s only one thought on Jack’s mind now… is there a giant living at the top of the stalk? And if so… is he a giant everywhere?Get ready to laugh until you’re wheezing at this ridiculously silly pantomime from the team behind Sleeping Beauty Takes A Prick. It features everything we love about panto - audience participation, songs, and a Dame - alongside a healthy dose of not-so-subtle innuendo.
London’s Naughtiest Panto Returns - Creative Team
Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper’s fantastically filthy panto is a highlight of the season for adults who want the nostalgia of a classic Christmas show, mixed with the humour of a drag extraordinaire. With songs by Bradfield and sharp direction from Andrew Beckett, the jokes keep coming… and you’ll be begging for more of Jack’s adventures up the stalk. The team returns for another year following the success of Sleeping Beauty Takes A Prick, including the unforgettable Matthew Baldwin as Dame Trott.
