Focusing on the making of Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour, MJ the Musical brings his artistic spirit out from behind the sharp-suited silhouette. Known as an innovator in everything from music videos to fashion, the King of Pop’s collaborative mind and creativity is celebrated in this immense new musical.
MJ the Musical is currently running on Broadway, where it was nominated for a staggering 10 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and won four, including Best Choreography and Best Actor in a Musical.

Jamaal Fields Green stars as Michael Jackson in the West End. He has previously appeared as MJ in the US tour, and as standby and cover MJ on Broadway.
Michael Jackson’s story is woven into a compelling book by Pulitzer-winning playwright Lynne Nottage (Sweat ) and directed/choreographed with sharp style by Christopher Wheeldon.

We enjoyed the music, singing and iconic dancing- flashbacks gave insight into the harsh upbringing the Jackson 5 were forced through for their fame. Good concept of basing around the rehearsals for a tour. Really enjoyed the show!
