My Fair Lady Tickets

A truly loverly musical returns

Lincoln Center Theater’s acclaimed, award-winning production of My Fair Lady arrives in London for summer 2022, in the first major West End revival of the musical for 21 years.

Based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, the musical tells the story of Cockney flower seller Eliza Doolittle and professor Henry Higgins, who attempts to teach her the accent and mannerisms of a lady. Despite his prejudices, Henry soon finds himself on the receiving end of a few lessons too.

Director Bartlett Sher’s revival was nominated for 10 Tony Awards, and at the London Coliseum will see Frederick Loewe’s songs - including “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly”, “The Rain in Spain” and “Get me to the Church on Time” - accompanied by the English National Opera orchestra.

Amara Okereke (Spring Awakening) stars as Eliza, with Harry Hadden-Paton reprising the role of Henry Higgins from Broadway. Further casting includes Vanessa Redgrave as Mrs Higgins, Sharif Afifi as Freddy Eynsford-Hill, and Maureen Beattie as Mrs Pearce.

My Fair Lady tickets are the perfect way to celebrate the first bloom of summer in the West End! This refreshing, loverly take on the classic musical is at the London Coliseum for 16 weeks only.

Performance dates: 26 Aug 2022 - 27 Aug 2022

Running time: 3 hours (including an interval)

Age recommendation: TBC

This show is by far the best production I have ever seen. The cast where phenomenal especially Eliza. The staging and the vocals are second to none I would 100% recommend this show to anyone who loves this classic story by Lerner and Loewe’s. Just amazing.

The musical is largely based on the film with Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison (a film classic). The cast sang, danced and performed beautifully and didn't disappoint to provide a great show for the evening, thank-you. I would highly recommend seeing if not done so before!

Fabulous show with great music that made you feel happy. Acting and singing all done to perfection. Set was put together wonderfully. I got a good view of the orchestra pit and was a pleasure to see a full orchestra who were superb. Well done to all involved in this magnificent production.

If you’ve seen the 1964 movie then you’ll be familiar with the 1913 Covent Garden / Marylebone setting, and the amazing soundtrack that goes with it. The stage show, more or less, is a carbon copy of the movie. The difficulty you have with carbon copies is that comparisons are bound to be drawn. Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn are so iconic in the roles of Professor Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle, their shoes are almost too big to fill. That being said, the cast were all great, giving their respective roles real gusto. The set designs were amazing, especially going from room to room inside 27A Wimpole Street. Even the market place at Covent Garden got to ‘perform’. (I liked when we got to see ‘inside’ the Covent Garden pub during “Get Me To The Church On Time”). Sometimes sets can be quite mesmerising, and this show definitely had that for me. The costumes were fantastic, especially those for the ladies at the Ascot races; and also when Eliza is taken to the Embassy Ball. The choreography, throughout, was just sublime; especially on the ensemble numbers.

This is a true spectacle of a show and is well worth watching. It is however 3 hours 10 mins in length so be prepared for a very long show. The songs are superb, the costumes are sublime and the casting is spot on. If you are a fan of the film My Fair Lady then you will really like this version!
