    Making kids dance with joy

English National Ballet give tiny theatregoers their first taste of the magical world of ballet, with a stunning adaptation of the classic Swan Lake. Playing at London’s Peacock Theatre for a limited season, My First Ballet: Swan Lake is a unique, child-friendly production that comes as part of the enchanting and crowd-pleasing My First Ballet series.

Swan Lake follows the well-known tale of evil magician Rothbart, who transforms the beautiful Princess Odette into a swan. She can only return to human form at night, so will the dashing Prince Siegfried be able to save her, or will he also fall for nasty Rothbart’s wicked sorcery?

My First Ballet: Swan Lake is choreographed by Ruth Brill and features a shortened version of Tchaikovsky’s soaring score, alongside a narrator to help audience members follow along with the captivating story.

The show is a new production from the internationally acclaimed English National Ballet and its educational wing, the English National Ballet School, whose accessible My First Ballet series has toured the UK since 2012.

Presenting world-class ballet in a child-friendly package, My First Ballet tickets will have children begging to practice their own pirouettes.
