Legally Blonde The Musical Returns to the West End in 2027

Oh my god you guys! Legally Blonde the Musical is returning to the West End in 2027, five years after the popular show was last staged at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2022. Popular West End performer Amber Davies will star as Elle Woods in the limited run at the London Coliseum. Legally Blonde the Musical in London

A high-energy, joyful, and empowering musical, this London return of Legally Blonde follows a sold-out UK and Ireland tour. Based on a novel by Amanda Brown and the popular 2001 film of the same name, the musical features music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach.

Legally Blonde the Musical tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrols at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner, who is looking for someone more “serious”. Along the way, she discovers that her knowledge of the law can help others and the importance of staying true to herself.

Nikolai Foster (Kinky Boots, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) directs this production with choreography by Leah Hill, set design by Colin Richmond and lighting design by Ben Cracknell.

Who will star in Legally Blonde the Musical at the London Coliseum?

Amber Davies will lead this production of Legally Blonde the Musical as Elle Woods. A finalist in the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing, Amber also has a plethora of theatre credits including The Great Gatsby, Back to the Future the Musical and 9 to 5 The Musical.
