Oklahoma! Tickets
After wowing Broadway and Young Vic audiences, Daniel Fish’s bold reimagining of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s musical opens in the West End.
Oklahoma Musical Tickets - A Bold Revival of a Classic
Experience Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic musical Oklahoma! like you’ve never seen it before with Daniel Fish’s Tony Award-winning production in the West End. This “utterly thrilling” (The Evening Standard) revival has bowled over audiences on Broadway, at the Young Vic Theatre and is now a sensation at Wyndham’s Theatre. What is Oklahoma about?
Oklahoma! is the story of a community that comes together against an outsider, as farmgirl Laurey finds herself the object of affection for two men: cowboy Curly and newcomer Jud. Exploring the frontier life that shaped America, this was the musical that shaped all musicals, with highly recognisable songs including “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin” and “I Cain’t Say No”.Daniel Fish’s visionary production brings Oklahoma! right up to date, making the story funny, sexy and relevant for the 21st century without altering Rodgers & Hammerstein’s original book and music. In contrast to the jolly, exuberant vision so many of us might have of the musical, this production is an exciting and refreshing evening of entertainment that will render you “fascinated by the strange brutality it reveals at the heart of its story” (Time Out), whilst still remaining “modern, sexy and unsettling” (The Guardian).
It won the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival in New York, and recently enjoyed a sold-out season at the Young Vic Theatre in 2022. In London, it has won the Olivier Award and WhatsOnStage Award for Best Musical Revival, and the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
