What Is One Day the Musical About?
When working-class, optimistic Emma and posh, laddish Dexter spend a night together after their university graduation in 1988, they don’t expect to meet again. As the decades pass and Emma and Dexter’s lives unfold differently from how they had imagined, their stories intertwine unexpectedly. The pair are drawn together and come apart through life-changing moments, always on the same date they initially met - the 15th of July, St Swithins Day. Spanning twenty years, One Day The Musical is a moving, emotionally charged exploration of love, fate, second chances, and missed opportunities
