Mischevious Family Fun With The Enormous Crocodile Tickets

Watch out, children, The Enormous Crocodile is swimming into London… and he’s very hungry! Roald Dahl’s mischievous picture book becomes a rib-tickling new family musical at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre this summer. It’s a “snappy, funny, riotous children’s musical to really sink your teeth into” (Theatre & Tonic), so book your tickets now if you’re feeling brave enough!

About The Enormous Crocodile Musical

The Enormous Crocodile is lurking in the jungle in search of scrumptious little fingers and toes… especially children’s ones! He has a few tricks and disguises hidden under his scales to make sure he gets his dinner. Only the other jungle animals can stop his dastardly plans and clever tricks, but they’re going to need lots of courage and help.

Maybe you could help them?!

Based on Roald Dahl’s picture book, The Enormous Crocodile musical brings the beloved story to the stage with a menagerie of eye-popping puppets and tasty tunes. This “lively, inventive and delightful” (What's On Stage) co-production with Roald Dahl Story Company and Leeds Playhouse prowled into Yorkshire with its premiere last year and now sneaks all the way down to London to delight families in the capital.

A Mischievous Creative Team!

This unruly and wildly fun show has a book and lyrics by Suhayla El-Bushra, irresistible music by Ahmed Abdullahi Gallab and additional music and lyrics by Tom Brady. You’ll be tapping your toes (when the crocodile isn’t after them!) all the way through and cheering as Muggle-Wump the monkey, Trunky the elephant and their friends fend off the fearsome brute.

Director Emily Lim leads a production that features incredible puppets by co-director and puppetry designer Toby Olié, and amazing sets and costumes by Fly Davis. The jungle springs to life in the middle of London and it’s a riot for brave children and their grown-ups!
