When spoilt 10 year old Mary Lennox is sent away from her parents in India to live with her Uncle in remote Yorkshire, she experiences a huge shock. Left with a family member she barely knows - and barely sees - in the cavernous Misselthwaite Manor, she feels as lost and neglected as the forlorn walls around her. When she discovers the door to an incredible secret garden, Mary soon learns how to befriend robins, grumpy gardeners, and a boy who can speak to animals… and if she tries really hard, she might be able to bring more than just the garden back to full bloom.
