Getting into the Venue
Access to Lena Horne Theatre is step-free at 256 West 47th Street, through two double doors into the outer and inner lobbies.The Orchestra is entirely step-free for all patrons, and five designated wheelchair seats are located in the rear of the section. A number of transfer seats with folding armrests are also available in the Orchestra (eight seats) and the Front Mezzanine (two seats).
The Front Mezzanine is not step-free, and patrons will need to walk upstairs to the section (19 steps); there may be one or two additional steps up and down to rows.
There are no elevators or escalators at this venue.
Customer Assistance
A unisex wheelchair accessible restroom is located on the Orchestra level of the theater. Other restrooms are in the Mezzanine, up 19 steps.The Lena Horne Theatre does not operate a coat check or cloakroom, so all coats and bags must be taken into the auditorium.
Please be aware that staff may be unable to provide assistance to patrons where there are steps inside the theater, so it is advised that you attend with a companion where possible.

Section Accessibility
Orchestra
The Orchestra is accessible step-free for all patrons, with five wheelchair seats in P3, P5 and O102, O113 and O4, towards the rear of the section. A further eight aisle transfer seats with movable armrests are across rows C, J N and P.
Designated wheelchair seats usually have one adjacent companion seat.
Front Mezzanine
The Front Mezzanine is located up one flight of stairs, with a further one or two steps down to each row. Three transfer seats are located in D1, D25 and D26. These seats are in the back row of the Front Mezzanine, usually before the main steps down to individual rows.
Please be aware that the Front Mezzanine is not wheelchair accessible, and the theater has no elevators or escalators. Patrons with limited mobility should exercise caution when choosing seats in this section, therefore.
Rear Mezzanine
The Rear Mezzanine is located up one flight of stairs, with a further one or two steps up to each row. There are no specific transfer or accessible seats in the section.
Please be aware that the Rear Mezzanine is not wheelchair accessible, and the theater has no elevators or escalators. This section is the least desirable for patrons with limited mobility, therefore.
