Mozart’s famous opera tells the story of Prince Tamino, who embarks on a journey to save the Queen of the Night’s daughter, Pamina, from a priest called Sarastro. Tamino is joined by the bird-catcher Papageno, and he has a magic flute to protect him, but this quest will challenge every bit of bravery and wisdom he has.But when he faces the evil Sarastro, is everything what it seems?
This classic singspiel - an opera told with individual musical numbers connected by dialogue and stage action - is a brilliant mix of down-to-earth comedy and ethereal mysticism, as Tamino tries to prove his worthiness and help light triumph over darkness.
