About the Magic Mike Theater

The Magic Mike Theater is a brand new purpose-built venue, located in the heart of Broadway’s Theatre District, in the former home of the famous Copagabana Nightclub. The legendary nightclub first opened in the 1940s and hosted iconic performers including Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, and has featured in movies including Goodfellas, Tootsie, and The French Connection. The club moved location several times over the decades, settling on 268 W 47th Street, before closing in the 2020s.

This new venue has fully redesigned the building's upper floors to include a second-level lobby and lounge, as well as a dedicated performance space for Magic Mike Live on the first floor. These refurbishments include the opening of brand new cocktail destination Greenlight, located on the building’s second floor directly adjacent to the theater space, which offers pre-show drinks and dining options, as well as a post-show space to continue the experience late into the night.

Just moments from Times Square, there are lots of things to do nearby for tourists and seasoned New Yorkers alike, with many dining options and other Broadway theatres - including the Lena Horne Theatre - located on the same street, all within walking distance.
