What is the play What We Did Before Our Moth Days about?
In a hectic urban landscape, populated by the intelligent middle classes, a family come together to share the intimacies of their life stories. A father, son, mother, and, somewhat awkwardly, the long-term mistress of the father, embark together on an enlightening journey all about love, remorse and joy in this new production that is at turns hilarious, moving and weird.
Wallace Shawn is known for his frank and often absurdist examinations of sexuality, politics and morality, and now the boundary-pushing playwright tackles the most universal of subjects - love. This brand new production marks Shawn’s first new play in almost a decade, and promises to be just as surreal and spectacular as the earlier collaborations between Shawn and director André Gregory.
