About Back to the Future the Musical
When ‘80s teenager Marty McFly helps his friend - and possible mad scientist - Doc Brown with a brand new invention, he gets way more than he bargained for! Propelled back to the 1950s by a time-travelling DeLorean, Marty has to make sure his parents get together, otherwise, he might never exist at all…
This musical adaptation features a brand new score by Grammy winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, as well as classic tunes from the film, such as "The Power of Love" and "Johnny B. Goode".

The show is written and adapted by Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis, who fans will recognise as the minds behind the original film franchise, and has music and lyrics by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard. Silvestri is an Academy Award-nominated composer and long-time collaborator of Zemeckis’, and his extensive credits include Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and The Bodyguard.
Olivier Award-winning designer Tim Hatley (Life of Pi; Dreamgirls ), choreographer Chris Bailey, video designer Finn Ross, illusion designer Chris Fisher, director John Rando, and many, many more have worked tirelessly to recreate the awe and excitement of the film’s biggest moments live on stage as if you are seeing them for the first time.
You will gaze in awe as the most iconic scenes are recreated using a state-of-the-art mix of lighting, projection, mechanical staging and all manner of technical wizardry!

This was my 3rd time seeing this show. This is definitely one of my comfort shows. I absolutely loved it again. The effects were brilliant. Actors brilliant. Just overall a really brilliant show.
