Will Young and Michelle Ryan star in Rufus Norris’ dark, sexually-charged revival of Cabaret at London’s Savoy Theatre. Following 19 year-old Sally Bowles as she starts a relationship with Cliff Bradshaw, Cabaret takes place in 1931 Berlin during the rise of the Nazi party. Featuring a well-known score by duo Kander and Ebb, Cabaret includes “Willkommen”, “Two Ladies”, “Maybe This Time” and the show-stopping “Cabaret”.

Will Young makes his West End debut in Rufus Norris’ dark revival of the multi-award winning musical extravaganza Cabaret. Featuring choreography from Olivier Award-winning Javier De Frutos, Cabaret follows the raunchy Kit Kat Club in Berlin during the rise of the Nazis. Originally premiering on Broadway in 1966, Cabaret is best-known for its 1972 film remake starring Liza Minnelli. Opening at London’s Savoy Theatre, the popular musical features a smash-hit score by duo Kander and Ebb. Set in 1931 Berlin, Cabaret is the story of Sally Bowles, a young performer who starts a relationship with American writer Cliff Bradshaw after meeting at the Emcee’s seedy Kit Kat Club. Desperate to find lodgings, the pair are helped out by money-laundering undercover Nazi agent Ernst Ludwig, who attempts to involve Cliff in smuggling. Soon it becomes apparent that the glorious freedom Berlin once enjoyed is inevitably doomed. Featuring music and lyrics by Kander and Ebb, Cabaret includes show-stopping numbers such as “Willkommen”, “Mein Herr”, “Two Ladies”, “Tomorrow Belongs to Me”, “Maybe This Time” and “Cabaret”. Pop Idol star Will Young takes on the role of the enigmatic Emcee. One of the UK’s leading artists, Young has enjoyed a hugely successful music career with the platinum selling album 'Echoes', as well as starring opposite Judi Dench in Mrs Henderson Presents. EastEnders’ Michelle Ryan stars as the iconic Sally Bowles after most recently appearing in NBC show The Bionic Woman. Further cast members include Sian Phillips (Marlene, Les Liaisons Dangereuses) as Fraulein Schneider, alongside Harriet Thorpe and Matt Rawle. Rufus Norris directs Cabaret for the second time since his revival at the Lyric Theatre in 2006. With a book by Joe Masteroff, Cabaret features design by Katrina Lindsay and lighting design by Jean Kalman. Opening at the West End’s Savoy Theatre, this sensationally sexually-charged production of Cabaret is packed full of sharp politics, toe-tapping music and devilish decadence. Don’t miss out on this wonderfully raunchy musical!
