Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre Seat Guide

The Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre London has a capacity of 1240 seats. Use our interactive seating plan to view 603 seat reviews and 596 view from seat photos.

This custom-built auditorium is in the round, meaning there are seats on all sides around a central stage, evoking the arena of the Quarter Quell and immersing you in the action. Seats are divided into eleven Districts, comprising tiered seating with steps up to each row on a central aisle. Generally, there are great views of the stage from each section.

The auditorium has unique moving seats in Districts 1 and 2, which move during key moments and give an immersive experience for customers in this area - though do bear in mind that you cannot leave the auditorium during the show if you are sitting in these sections. There are screens located at the far sides of the auditorium, between Districts 1 and 2. These are visible from all sections and are used throughout the show.

The venue has two levels, with the majority of the seats on the lower floor. There are a small number of seats, named District 11, upstairs in the Circle, overlooking two sides of the stage. These tickets are cheaper and offer a slightly restricted view because of a safety rail. Further restrictions are due to the safety rails on the aisles in Districts 4, 5, 8 and 9, though these are very slight. For anyone who requires a swift exit, it’s worth bearing in mind that the seats on the outer sides of each block are next to a wall rather than an aisle.

Tips from SeatPlan Members

  • 2Zee9 thought seats upstairs, like District 11 C25, offered a great view for a bargain price - but you might need to lean forward
  • Users enjoyed the experience from the moving seats, with AmberrDaae (District 1 M29) calling them “phenomenal”
  • Aredhelalcarin called their seat in District 4 E65 “Incredible” and would sit there again for a return visit
  • User Bex52296 (District 7 E9) had an excellent view from her seat, but found the adjacent moving seats slightly distracting during the show

Good Value Seats

The best value seats are in District 10, where there are a limited number of seats in the centre of row Q, the back row of the section, offering a clear, unobstructed overview of the stage for the same price as the lowest-priced restricted view seats in District 11.

Premium Seats

Enjoy all the luxuries of the Capitol with a VIP package. Tickets include the best seats front and centre in Districts 4 and 5, a programme, VIP lounge access both pre-show and during the interval with canapes and sparkling wine on arrival, plus an additional beverage and ice cream at the interval.
