Benjamin Button is not like other men. Under the curious and magical light of a full moon, not long after the First World War, he was born old. Fated to live a life in reverse, Benjamin grows more youthful each day, but all he wants to do is be accepted and fall in love. He is a curiosity in his sleepy fishing village, but will he ever find a place he belongs? Time and tide will tell, and soon his journey is affected by the eve of another war…Drawn from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s boundless imagination and transported to a fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall, the mythology and wonder of Benjamin Button becomes a dazzling folk-musical, performed live by a fantastic actor-musician ensemble. It arrives in the West End following an acclaimed world premiere at Southwark Playhouse, where it garnered five-star reviews and an Off West End Theatre Award for Best Musical Production.

Incredible! Cried for most of it. I love an actor musician show, they are so talented. I hadn’t watched the film before seeing this, so only knew the very basics of the story but WOW. It was amazing!
