Getting into the Venue

The Garrick Theatre main entrance is located on Charing Cross Road and is accessible via 2 steps up from street level, with handrails. The foyer is accessible through double doors. A drop-off point is available outside the main entrance.

All sections of the theatre must be reached by stairs as there is no customer lift.

Customer Assistance

Patrons who wish to use the alternative entrance should report to staff at the main entrance on arrival and should arrive 30 minutes before the performance is due to begin.

Transfers are available and staff are able to assist with transferring patrons. Wheelchairs can be stored for the duration of the performance. An at-seat service is available for patrons who are unable to access the bars.

How to Book

For those who need special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Wheelchair users and their companions are eligible for significant discounts with access rates.

Section Accessibility

Stalls

The Stalls must be accessed via 22 steps down from the foyer. This section is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

Extra legroom can be found in seats N1-5 and N17-21.

Dress Circle

There is level access to Row E of the Dress Circle, with a wheelchair park space available in E13. You will need to book this space in advance by calling Nimax on 0330 333 4815 or by emailing access@nimaxtheatres.com.

Transfers are available to aisle seats, via 3 small steps down towards the front rows.

Grand Circle

The Grand Circle is accessible via 33 steps up as there is no customer lift. This section is not suitable for those with limited mobility.
