Location

The Harold Pinter Theatre is situated in a convenient, Central London location between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, close to the Criterion Theatre and Her Majesty's Theatre. It is also within walking distance from the National and Portrait Galleries in Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street shopping and two of London’s largest public parks. Chinatown and Soho provide plenty of food and drink options for before or after shows. As the theatre is located in the middle of London’s Theatreland, it is recommended you check www.tfl.gov.uk before travelling to the theatre.

Rail

The Harold Pinter Theatre is about 10 minutes from Charing Cross Station. From the main entrance of the station, turn left towards Trafalgar Square, walk along the lower edge of the square then turn right and head toward the National Gallery.

As the road goes left, it becomes Pall Mall. Follow it around, then take the first right onto Whitcomb Street. Cross Orange Street, then turn left onto Panton Street. The theatre is on the corner of Panton Street and Oxendon Street.

Tube

Piccadilly Circus, where the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines stop, is the closest tube station to the Harold Pinter Theatre, approximately 5 minutes away. From the underground, take exit 5 and walk to the corner of Haymarket. Cross the street and turn right onto Haymarket, take the first left into Panton Street and the theatre will be on your right.

Leicester Square tube station is also a close 7 minute walk, providing access to the Northern and Piccadilly lines.

Bus

Several bus routes pass through Piccadilly Circus and its immediate surroundings, with the closest stops on Haymarket and Regent Street. Routes serving the area include: 6, 12, 14, 19, 23, 38, 88, 94, 159, and 453. All bus routes are approximately 5 minutes away from the Harold Pinter Theatre.

Car

The Harold Pinter Theatre participates in Q-Park’s Theatreland scheme, giving drivers 50% off parking if the theatre staff validate their parking ticket. Regular priced car parking costs £22 for up to 3 hours, and £29.50 for 4 hours.

London’s Congestion Charge Zone covers the area of central London where the theatre is located. If you drive in this zone between 7am and 6pm, it costs £11.50 per day. Travelling outside of these times is free of charge. Vehicle drop-offs are permitted on both Panton and Oxendon Streets.
