Get ready to hear the people sing again when Les Misérables: The Staged Concert returns to London for a second year. Michael Ball, Alfie Boe and a cast of all-star performers unite to celebrate this epic musical at the Sondheim Theatre.

Les Misérables needs little introduction thanks to its legendary status worldwide and the astonishing talent who’ve featured in the show. Based on Victor Hugo’s 19th century novel, it is a story of love, loss and justice amidst the backdrop of the French Revolution. A host of characters feature, including ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, who is determined to start anew, and the obsessive Inspector Javert who refuses to let him live freely.

Les Misérables: The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre reunites the incredible cast from 2019’s sold-out 16 week season at the Gielgud Theatre. Alfie Boe stars as Jean Valjean, alternating the role with Les Mis alumnus John Owen-Jones for select performances. Michael Ball (Hairspray) appears as Inspector Javert, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine and Matt Lucas as Thénardier.

Alongside a company of over 50 actors and musicians, the musical features Boublil and Schönberg’s rousing score - including “One Day More” and “Do You Hear the People Sing?” - which is sure to lift the spirits of musical theatre fans after months of lockdown.

Over six months since London theatres closed, Les Misérables: The Staged Concert is becoming master of the house once more. Join the cast for a COVID-secure, limited season at the Sondheim Theatre from 5 December - 17 January.
