Getting into the Venue
The London Palladium main entrance is situated on Argyll Street. There are 4 steps up to the main entrance and a further 8 into the foyer. The Box Office can be found through a separate entrance, 5 steps up from the street. Handrails are in place on most staircases and some steps are highlighted.
Single automatic doors are in place for patrons with limited mobility. A ramp can be used to access the main entrance and a customer lift can take wheelchair users to the Stalls level.
An alternative level access entrance is located on Ramillies Place, at the back of the London Palladium theatre. An intercom is in place to attract attention, and staff are on hand to assist with the entrance.
Customer Assistance
Wheelchair users who need assistance should contact the Theatre Manager on arrival. Staff are on hand to assist with navigation and can help access the ramp and alternative entrance on Ramillies Place. It is recommended that patrons with limited mobility arrive 45 minutes before the performance is due to begin.
Transfers are available and staff are able to assist with these. Staff are able to store wheelchairs for the duration of the performance.
How to Book
For those who require special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Wheelchair users and their companions should let the box office know details of their access requirements as they are eligible for significant discounts and special booking privileges.
