Getting into the Venue
The Lyric Hammersmith main entrance is situated at Lyric Square on Kings Street, with level access from the street and from King’s Mall Shopping Centre. There is level access into the foyer, box office and café via a slight ramp. A lowered box office counter is available for wheelchair users.All sections of the theatre are accessible via steps or via a two customer lifts, which are suitable for access patrons. All lifts have voice announcements and Braille signage.
Customer Assistance
Staff are on hand throughout the venue to assist patrons. Those who wish to transfer must notify staff at the time of booking and must also bring a companion. Transfers and wheelchair or scooter spaces are available in the Stalls. There are 2 wheelchairs available to loan.An at-seat service is available for those who are unable to access the bars. Staff must be notified if this service is required. Those who wish to use the customer lifts may ask staff for assistance. All steps are clearly marked with handrails.

For those who wish to book wheelchair spaces or transfers, it is important to book well in advance to guarantee availability and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Section Accessibility
Stalls
The Stalls are accessible via 33 steps up from the theatre foyer, which is level access from the street. Steps are clearly marked and have handrails in place. Alternatively, the Stalls can be reached via a customer lift. Transfers are available to aisle seats in the Stalls. There are 4 designated wheelchair spaces located in Row R.
Extra legroom can be found in D1, D18, E1, E20 and Row R of the Stalls. Legroom is good throughout the Stalls and seats are comfortable.
Circle
The Circle is accessible via 28 steps up from the Stalls, which are 33 steps up from the Ground Floor. Steps are clearly marked with handrails in place. Alternatively, a customer lift is available to take patrons up to this level. Once inside the auditorium, there are steps to reach each row.
Extra legroom can be found in Row E and F of the Circle.
Upper Circle
The Upper Circle is accessible via 26 steps up from the Circle, which is 28 steps up from the Stalls. Steps are clearly marked with handrails in place. Alternatively, a customer lift is available for patrons. Once inside the auditorium, steps are required to reach each row.
