Lyric Hammersmith

Race through the streets of futuristic London as Phillip K Dick’s sci-fi story is adapted for the stage by the team behind Life of Pi.

Iconic Sci-Fi Thrills With Minority Report Tickets

What would you do if you were accused of a crime you hadn’t committed - before it had even taken place? Classic sci-fi story Minority Report explodes onto the stage at Lyric Hammersmith and delves into this question, promising a breathless ride for theatre fans. With cutting-edge technology bringing the story to life before your eyes, this is a must-see new play from the award-winning team who brought Life of Pi to the West End.

About The Minority Report Play

In 2050, neuroscientist Julia Anderton is readying the next phase of her groundbreaking Pre-Crime programme that can catch and detain people before they have committed an offense. But when Julia is accused of pre-murder, she is suddenly in a race against the clock to save herself from the system she created.

Minority Report is a tense and exciting sci-fi story that takes us on a high-stakes chase through futuristic London, and challenges us to think about the lines between free will and justice.

Minority Report: From Book to Stage

The new Minority Report play is adapted from Phillip K Dick’s iconic novella, which most people will recognise from its film adaptation starring Tom Cruise and directed by Steven Spielberg. Dick is one of the best sci-fi and speculative fiction writers of the 20th century, and over 65 years since it was published, his famous story still feels relevant as we follow the protagonist on their terrifying, self-created cat and mouse game.

Minority Report Play Creative Team

Minorty Report is brought to the stage by writer and actor David Haig, who adapts it from the original novella, and the Olivier Award-winning creative team behind West End hit Life of Pi. The team includes director Max Webster, and audiences can expect some jaw-dropping stage design, visual effects and innovative technology that blurs the lines between science fiction and reality.

Casting is to be confirmed.

Went on a day when they had technical difficulties, play was stopped once to reset a scene, but couldn't really work out how they had adapted it for this performance, so it didn't take away from my enjoyment. Very well choreographed & well acted. Enj Read more
