What are the ABBA Voyage songs?
1. The Visitors (ABBA Voyage Opening Song)
Released in 1981, “The Visitors” is the title track of ABBA’s eighth studio album – and the last record for four decades until Voyage. It’s a step away from their most popular disco hits, and showcases a more mature and experimental sound. Heavy on synth and drama, it has complex arrangements and a darker tone compared to the band’s earlier pop hits.
2. Hole in Your Soul
Things get more upbeat with this energetic track from ABBA’s 1977 album, ABBA: The Album. You might be unfamiliar with “Hole in Your Soul”, but its rock ‘n’ roll style and powerful vocals prove the group can get people dancing with guitar riffs as well as disco synth.
3. SOS
The first mega-hit of the evening, and its a surprisingly upbeat tearjerker about broken relationships. Classic ABBA! “SOS” was ABBA’s first international hit since “Waterloo”, hitting Number 1 in five countries. It starts as a melancholic piano melody before accelerating into an chorus you just have to sing along to.
4. Knowing Me, Knowing You
More heartbreak set to catchy rhythms. Taken from their 1976 album Arrival, “Knowing Me, Knowing You” is known for its melancholic tone and introspective lyrics. The song features a distinctive guitar riff and harmonized vocals, making it one of the band’s most memorable and emotionally resonant tracks.
5. Chiquitita
The title means “little girl” in Spanish, and this gentle song about friendship is one of ABBA’s most affectionate ballads. It tells the story of someone offering comfort and reassurance to a friend in distress, aided by an upbeat melody and lovely harmonies.
6. Fernando
Get ready to hear the drums when this track starts! This 1976 Number 1 hit is dramatic, sweeping and the definition of “timeless classic”. You’ll be transported far away from East London to a moonlit battlefield, where two old friends reconnect and reminisce.
7. Super Trouper
With possibly the best harmonising opportunity in ABBA’s entire back catalogue, “Super Trouper” is a dazzling pop anthem from 1980 that perfectly captures the excitement and emotion of life on stage. With its infectious melody and upbeat rhythm, this song is a celebration of the spotlight and the joy of performing.
8. Mamma Mia
Here we go again! My my… how could ABBA Voyage possibly not include this song? The hit films gave it a whole new lease of life – and it was already a classic – and this energetic tribute to on-again, off-again lovers is guaranteed to get the entire ABBA Arena on their feet. How can you resist it!
9. Does Your Mother Know
Talking of dancing… the first song with lead vocals from the ABBA men, “Does Your Mother Know” is a cheeky number with lighthearted vocals from Björn. It’s mix of flirtatious lyrics and a mix of rock and pop melodies make it a fan favourite.
10. Eagle
Coming in at nearly 6 minutes, “Eagle” is ABBA’s longest song. It’s a cinematic tribute to being a free spirit, and like its namesake, it’s a soaring moment in ABBA Voyage as the spectacular visuals and lighting effects really take hold.
11. Lay All Your Love on Me
This captivating 1980 track features a pulsating rhythm and lush synthesizers, creating a sound that’s both modern and timeless. With its powerful vocals and infectious melody, “Lay All Your Love on Me” invites you to lose yourselves in a story of passion and desire.
12. Summer Night City
Partying on a warm midsummer evening made into music – that’s how we’d describe this 1978 number. With an upbeat tempo and catchy chorus, “Summer Night City” perfectly capture the excitement and allure of a thrilling night out. Perfect for ABBA Voyage!
13. Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)
Released in 1979, this disco anthem is a staple on any party playlist and one of ABBA’s best singles. With its iconic synth hook and catchy plea for late-night love, it’s impossible not to sing along… or dance like nobody’s watching.
14. Voulez-Vous
The title track from ABBA’s 1979 album, “Voulez-Vous” blends pulsing beats with an irresistible disco rhythm. It’s all about temptation and decision, set against a backdrop of glittering lights and unstoppable energy.
15. The Name of the Game
This slower, soulful track explores the vulnerability and curiosity of falling in love. With layered harmonies and a thoughtful tone, it offers a quieter moment during the show.
16. Take a Chance on Me
Released in 1978, this upbeat track is pure pop joy. Built around that iconic a cappella intro, it’s a playful mix of confidence, charm and hope, and a brilliant vocal showcase for the group. Live, it’s a moment that gets the crowd clapping along and smiling from ear to ear.

17. Don’t Shut Me Down
A standout from ABBA’s 2021 Voyage album, this song balances nostalgia with fresh confidence. Told from the perspective of someone returning stronger than before, it’s both emotionally rich and undeniably catchy. A highlight of the concert!
18. I Still Have Faith in You
Released in 2021 as the opening track of their comeback album Voyage, this emotional ballad was a powerful return for ABBA. Reflective and richly layered, it’s a tribute to enduring friendship, shared history and the bond that never truly fades.
19. Waterloo
The song that started it all! “Waterloo” won Eurovision in 1974 and catapulted ABBA into superstardom. With its infectious rhythm and flamboyant flair, it’s pure pop joy that still gets the crowd cheering every single time.
20. Money, Money, Money
Released in 1976 on the Arrival album, this dramatic and theatrical number blends humour with frustration in its take on life’s financial struggles. It’s a performance full of character, and the staging in ABBA Voyage makes it shine even more.
21. Thank You for the Music
Originally part of the 1977 album ABBA: The Album, this heartfelt ballad is a tribute to the joy of performance and the magic of song. Its sincerity and simplicity make it one of ABBA’s most beloved, and a perfect moment of celebration towards the end of the show.
22. The Winner Takes It All
