Novello Theatre accessibility

Getting into the Venue

The Novello Theatre main entrance is situated on Aldwych and must be accessed via steps. An alternative accessible entrance is available for wheelchair users on Catherine Street and leads to a chairlift that can take patrons to the Dress Circle.

All sections of the theatre must be reached by stairs as there is no customer lift. This venue is not accessible for scooter users.

Customer Assistance

Staff must be notified if customers would like to use the alternative entrance on Catherine Street and are on hand to assist with navigation throughout the theatre. Those who wish to transfer from a wheelchair to fixed seating are advised to bring a companion.

The Novello has room for one wheelchair and one wheelchair transfer per performance. Staff are able to store wheelchairs for the duration of the performance.

How to Book

For those who require assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book well in advance to guarantee availability and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Discounted tickets are available for all access patrons and one companion, with the price depending on the show.
