Getting into the Venue
The Peacock Theatre main entrance is situated on Portugal Street and there are 5 steps to the foyer, with handrails in place. A wheelchair platform lift is available to navigate these steps if required. The right side of the main entrance door is automatic and can be opened with an access button.Alternatively, there is an accessible ramped entrance on Kingsway. An access parking bay outside the theatre can be used as a drop-off point. Once inside the building, a customer lift can reach all levels of the auditorium.

Customer Assistance
Staff are on hand to assist with navigation throughout the theatre and should be notified on arrival if patrons wish to use the Kingsway ramped entrance. Adapted facilities are locked and staff are able to open these with a RADAR key, once requested by a patron.Transfers are available and staff are able to escort patrons to the appropriate places. Staff are able to store wheelchairs for the duration of the performance. The customer lift is located in the main foyer and staff must be notified if patrons wish to use it. An at-seat service is available for patrons who are unable to access the bars.
How to Book
For those who require special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Section Accessibility
Stalls
The Stalls can be accessed via 24 steps from the main foyer. Alternatively, this section can be reached step-free by the customer lift. There is a wheelchair space available at the rear of the Stalls, which can be accessed via the main customer lift or the shuttle lift from the Stalls Bar. Seating within the auditorium is slightly raked.
Extra legroom is available in Row J and in aisle seats.
Dress Circle
The Dress Circle can be accessed via 21 steps from the main foyer. Alternatively, this section can be reached by the customer lift. The seating can also be accessed via a ramp from the main foyer. Wheelchair spaces are available at the rear of the Dress Circle.
