About I’m Not As Well As I Thought I Was

Based on her best-selling book, I’m Not As Well As I Thought I Was sees Ruby Wax lay it all bare on stage. Following a series of life-changing journeys in search of meaning and purpose - from silent retreats in California to swimming with humpback whales - Wax’s depression returned and in early 2022 she checked into a mental health clinic. Reflecting on some of her darkest moments, Wax’s latest show is frank, funny and completely compelling.

Audiences are treated to an exclusive Q&A with Ruby Wax in the second half, during which Wax encourages open conversation about mental health; followed by a meet and greet, including an opportunity to have a copy of her book signed.
