Shen Yun is a breathtaking display of China’s rich cultural heritage, reaching back 5,000 years. Audiences will be guided through stories of beautiful court ladies, battlefield victories, philosophers and poets, and magical realms. The show is grounded in a deep spiritual belief inspired by Buddhist and Taoist values. Each story is performed in a classical Chinese style of dance, aided by spectacular sets, interactive backdrops using 3D technology, and a live orchestra. Shen Yun dance show is a response to their home country’s communist government, and performed in a style of dance which has been restricted in China. Since being founded by a group of New York creatives and artists in 2006, Shen Yun has captivated audiences across the globe with its vibrant performances.The show has a cast and crew of over 80 singers, dancers and musicians.
