What is the play Sherlock Holmes about? 

London, 1890; Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are fresh from the success of Holmes’s first major case. The pair find themselves waiting for the next big case when a mysterious woman and a precious jewel arrive at 221B Baker Street, pulling them into a fresh and dangerous investigation. What follows is a pursuit across the bustling streets of Victorian London, from the foggy inner streets to the banks of the River Thames, all the way to Regent’s Park, testing the duo’s deductive skills as they confront a potentially deadly conspiracy.

This brand new original mystery is inspired by the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and presented in agreement with the Conan Doyle Estate

The Creative Team of Sherlock Holmes 

Sherlock Holmes is written by Joel Horwood (The Ocean at the End of the Lane, I Want my Hat Back), based on the novels by Arthur Conan Doyle. Sean Holmes (Pinocchi, The Merry Wives of Windsor) directs.

Lisa Aitken (Brigadoon, The Boy that Harnessed the Wind) serves as co-costume designer and supervisor, with co-costume design and set design by Grace Smart (Guess How Much I Love You, Cyrano de Bergerac), movement direction by Charlotte Broom (The Seagull, The Hunger Games: On Stage), and lighting design by Ryan Day (Hamlet, Never Have I Ever). 

The show has an original score by Jherek Bischoff (The Ocean at the End of the Lane, Eureka Day). Sound design is by Elena Peña (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, Sweat) and wigs, hair and make-up design by Carole Hancock (Shucked, Brigadoon), who also serves as supervisor in these areas.
