A top producer needs your help. He’s been asked to present a brand new musical - a sure-fire West End hit - but he’s stuck for ideas. Every night he takes prompts for name, setting, music genre and more from the audience, so you might find your suggestion brought to life live on stage. From Phantom of the Operating Table to Sex, Drugs and Sausage Roll, every night is a premiere with the Showstopper team, and none of them know what they’ll be performing until the suggestions start rolling in.
This wacky and brilliant show, steered each night by a hugely talented team of actors, musicians and techies, premiered at Edinburgh Fringe Festival before transferring to the West End for a series of residencies. In 2016 it won the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and Family Show, and has remained a fast favourite ever since.
Crowds rush to see what the team have got hidden up their sleeves every Monday night… and if there’s any end to their astounding improv skills, they’ve shown no signs of it yet!
