Join the Party! Tickets to The Great Gatsby: A New Musical

After delighting audiences during its sell-out run on Broadway, The Great Gatsby transfers to the London Coliseum for a strictly limited summer season. This decadent, Tony Award winning new musical tells the story of love-stricken millionaire Jay Gatsby, as he pursues his former love Daisy Buchanan, through pop and jazz-inspired songs, breathtaking choreography and glitzy costumes. So pour the champagne, put on your dancing shoes and join the party!

What is The Great Gatsby musical about?

“Can’t repeat the past?…Why of course you can!”. Adapted from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic novel about love, longing and the American Dream, The Great Gatsby is a brand new musical set in jazz-era Long Island, New York, and offers a “fresh and fun spin” (Entertainment Weekly) on this classic story.

It’s the swinging ’20s, and enigmatic self-made millionaire Jay Gatsby is known for throwing extravagant parties but never partaking in the fun, too stricken with longing for his former love, beautiful but troubled socialite Daisy Buchanan - who he has known since his youth. When Daisy’s cousin Nick Carraway reintroduces the two, sparks fly - but Daisy is married, and some things may be better left in the past…

Considered by many to be the Great American Novel, The Great Gatsby was first published in 1925 and has had many previous adaptations including the critically acclaimed 2013 film version by Baz Luhrmann, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Gatsby.

Who are the cast and creatives of The Great Gatsby?

UK casting is yet to be announced, but the New York production starred Tony Award nominees Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, Bonnie and Clyde) as Jay Gatsby and Eva Noblezada (Hadestown, Miss Saigon) as Daisy Buchanan.

Adapted from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless novel, The Great Gatsby has a book by Kait Kerrigan (The Woman Upstairs) and a pop and jazz-influenced original score by Tony Award nominees Jason Howland (Little Women) and Nathan Tysen (Paradise Square) with music production by Grammy Award winner Billy Jay Stein (Fun Home).

The Great Gatsby is directed by Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and produced by acclaimed musical producer Chunsoo Shin (Doctor Zhivago), five-time winner of Korea’s most prestigious theatrical award, the Korean Pop Culture and Arts Prime Minister Award.

With lavish costumes by Tony Award-winning costume designer Linda Cho (A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder) and toe-tapping choreography by Dominique Kelley (So You Think You Can Dance) - a collaborator with artists like Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson - The Great Gatsby dazzled audiences on Broadway with its “shimmering, sparkling spectacle” (Variety).
