Returning to the West End for a limited summer season, this charming adaptation of the award-winning book is sure to entertain even the smallest of theatregoers. The Gruffalo is the well-known story of brave Mouse, who ventures into the deep, dark forest to explore. Along her way, Mouse encounters some rather sinister animals, including a sneaky Fox, peckish Owl and slimy snake, all of whom think Mouse would make the perfect snack! In an attempt to outsmart the hungry predators, Mouse tells them all the tale of the gruesome Gruffalo, a terrifying monster that lurks in the heart of the forest. Little does Mouse know that she might come face to face with the Gruffalo itself! Tall Stories is an exciting, evolving theatre company, creating enchanting tales for children across the country. Originally premiering in 2011, The Gruffalo has been their most successful production to date, with several critically-acclaimed West End runs. Packed full of songs, comedy, interactive moments and bright, fun costumes, The Gruffalo is the perfect treat for all the family! The Gruffalo is Donaldson’s most famous book, with further well-known works including Room on a Broom, The Snail and the Whale and The Smartest Giant in Town. LOVED THE SHOW! The characters were hilarious. You could feel the anxiety from the kids when they knew the gruffalo was imminently going to arrive but he was humorous which relieved the tension and apprehension! Have recommended to my friends.
