Stalls Guide
The Stalls is the only section in The Other Palace and is one large block of seating without a central aisle. Seats are tiered upwards by a heavy rake, which ensures a clear view from every single seat in the auditorium. A slight curve to each row does not affect the view of any seats. This is a modern auditorium that has been designed to allow excellent views throughout the seating.
Row A and B are sometimes taken out for performances. These rows are level with the stage and are extremely close to the action. Rows M and N are furthest away, but still offer excellent views.
Seats are comfortable and legroom is very good. Sitting in seats at the ends of rows may cause legroom to feel slightly more restricted, however the aisles allow for a compromise. Good views are on offer throughout this theatre.
Bars
There is level access to the theatre foyer, located on the ground floor. There is limited seating at the bar and it can become very busy. Staff are able to bring drinks into the auditorium on behalf of those who cannot access the bars.
Pre-theatre dining is available on the first floor of the theatre, which can be accessed via lift.
Toilets
Men’s and Women’s toilets are available on this level. Accessible toilets are located on all levels of the theatre, each with a wide door, easy lock and lowered sink.
