About Jonah by Rachel Bonds

Everybody has a fantasy, and no one knows this better than Ana. She’s got a big one, and she’d do anything to make it come true. When she meets Jonah at her boarding school, it’s as if everything has fallen into place. He’s kind, sweet and caring. Or is he?

In this moving, shifting and haunting world premier, you will be caught up in a coming-of-age tale where nothing is as it seems. With twists and turns to leave you breathless with disbelief, Jonah asks how far people will go to feel less alone in the world.

Creative Team

Jonah is written by Brooklyn-based playwright Rachel Bonds. Bonds’ other work includes Goodnight Nobody, The Lonely Few, and Michael & Edie.

The show is directed by Obie Award-winner Danya Taymor, whose credits include Heroes of the Fourth Turning, Jeremy O. Harris Daddy and Antoinette Nwandu's Pass Over.
