    In 1946, post-war New York is being rebuilt and artists are emerging onto the streets. Jimmy Doyle is a musician looking for his “major chord” of music, money, and love.     New York, New York is a soaring new musical based loosely on Martin Scorsese’s 1977 film, with an original story by David Thompson and Sharon Washington. Five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (The Producers) directs and choreographs.

    The show features an exhilarating score from one of musical theater’s greatest duos, John Kander and Fred Ebb (Cabaret; Chicago).
