Tickets for this landmark festive event can be pretty pricey, but before you say “Bah, Humbug” don’t worry – there are a few different ways you can snag discount Rockettes tickets if you’re on a budget.
The iconic, all-female dance group celebrate their 100th year this Christmas with a show that’s still as mesmerising as ever, featuring sketches, show stopping special effects, a live orchestra performing all your favorite Christmas songs, a special guest appearance from Santa himself and, of course, dazzling choreography performed in the Rockettes’ trademark precision dancing technique. The festive season can be an expensive time, and tickets to the Rockettes can vary quite significantly in price throughout the show’s November to January run, as there are multiple shows each day.

Book Specific Performance Times
Performance times vary quite a lot for The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, and there are usually multiple shows a day. On some dates, there will be only two shows, an afternoon matinee and an evening show. On other dates there will be up to five performances a day, including morning, afternoons, early evening and late evening shows.
These five show days are generally on Saturdays, and usually have performances at 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm. There are also sometimes four show days, which normally have performances at 11am, 2pm, 5pm and 8pm. We advise carefully checking each date you’d like to attend for these specific times, as they can be quite variable from week to week.
On five or four show days, your best chance of snagging a Rockettes ticket discount is usually to book for the late evening shows, with cheaper tickets also available for the morning shows. To nab the cheapest seats, opt for a 10pm or 8pm performance, or for the second cheapest, a 10am or 11am performance.
The most expensive performances on a multi-show day are generally in the afternoon and early evening – so either the 1pm, 4pm or 7pm shows, or the 2pm and 5pm shows will have the highest prices.
On show days with fewer performances, morning shows are usually your best bet for discount Rockettes tickets, but again, this can be quite variable. In these instances, we’d advise checking other factors such as date or location of the seats.
Be Smart About Performance Dates
The Rockettes’ Christmas Spectacular runs from November to early January, with performances from November 7 – January 4 in 2025.
As you can imagine, the most expensive dates to book will be on the run-up to Christmas, with shows from December 23 -28 having the highest prices throughout the run. Saturdays in December also tend to be a bit more expensive than those in November or January. Check the Seat Location
While the date and time of the performance can affect the discounts you might find available, having some flexibility with where you sit within the Radio City Music Hall is the best way to get cheap Rockettes tickets.
The Orchestra level is on the first floor of Radio City Music Hall and offers the most immersive and close-up experience, offering a great view of the stage and even the chance to catch a confetti snowflake! The premium views do however, also mean it is the priciest of the venue’s four seating levels. The orchestra is a large area, comprised of four sections, with the most expensive seats located front and centre, with a front orchestra ticket costing $130+ on a lower price date, and over $300+ on certain premium dates.
The lowest-priced tickets in this area are toward the sides or back of the Orchestra. Orchestra prices are cheaper on certain dates and times, as outlined above, but are still costlier than the Mezzanine levels for all dates. The cheapest seats in this area are towards the sides, and which range from $115+ per person on a lower price date, or toward the rear, which start from $120+. Tickets in the rear and sides of the Orchestra are generally over $230+ on premium dates such as Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The First Mezzanine is the first balcony, and offers an amazing overview of the stage as well as spectacular up-close views of the flying frost fairies as they dance through the air. Prices range from around $85+ on cheaper dates and times, rising up to $180+ on premium dates such as Christmas Day.
The Second Mezzanine is the middle balcony, and also offers great overviews, particularly of the precise choreo during Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, at a lower price than in the Orchestra or First Mezzanine. On cheaper dates and times you can snag a Second Mezz ticket starting at $80+, while on more expensive dates Second Mezzanine tickets start at $170+ – so a savvy booker can snag a ticket for almost half the price by choosing a less popular date!
The Third Mezzanine is the cheapest seating area, even on premium dates. While this is the very top floor, it still has great views, again giving a clear overview of the whole stage and allowing you to drink in all those precision dance moves from a great vantage point, particularly during the Dance of the Frost Fairy scene. Prices start at around $60+ on cheaper dates, rising to $110+ on more sought-after dates like Christmas Eve. It’s also worth noting that on some less-in-demand dates, such as those in early November, the Third Mezzanine may be closed, but Second Mezzanine tickets are usually less costly on these days.
On certain dates, particularly premium dates such as Christmas Eve, the difference in price between each of the Mezzanine levels can be pretty small. For example, on December 26, seats in the First Mezzanine are available at $184, Second Mezzanine tickets are $172.50, and Third Mezzanine tickets are $149.50 [prices accurate as of October 2025], so if you can afford to spend the extra few dollars to upgrade to a higher-priced ticket for a lower level, it’s well worth it.
